CAP

The Computer Administered Profile (CAP) is an open-ended online exam offered to the top 300-350 applicants from a pool of applicants applying to the Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto (U of T).

Through a series of short and long answer questions over a two-hour period, the CAP evaluates a student’s knowledge of the Physical Therapy profession, healthcare, their personal attributes, ethical situations, life experiences, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

To help you prepare for your CAP, we will present you with many questions in which you will be required to type a written response. We will encourage you to answer each question as if you were giving a verbal response at a job interview for a physiotherapist position. Following each CAP prep session, your responses to each question are reviewed by us and an evaluation, with helpful tips on enhancing your response, is provided to you.
